Harmonies of Heritage: A Symphony of Philippine Colonial music concert, 10 September 2024
The Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai wishes to inform the Filipino Community of the concert in the Philippines featuring the Manila Symphony Orchestra entitled “Harmonies of Heritage: A Symphony of Philippine Colonial Music” scheduled on 10 September 2024, Tuesday, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (PH Standard time) at San Agustin Church, Intramuros, Manila.
The concert, hosted by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs through the Office of Cultural Diplomacy (DFA-OCD), is a significant cultural milestone as an original performance dedicated to Philippine colonial music. The event combines meticulous research and musical artistry, with the aim of preserving and sharing the country’s rich cultural heritage through the lens of music.
