Consul General Oblena (Center) joined by SM Development Corporation Representatives
SHANGHAI – The Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai received on 5 December 2024 a visiting delegation from SM Development Corporation which arrived in China’s financial center to attend the 2024 Luxury Property Show, Asia Pacific’s leading luxury real estate exhibition, scheduled on 06-08 December 2024 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.
The SMDC team was represented by SMDC Deputy Sales Head Mr. Angelo V. Nomat, Operations Director Ms. Cecille M. Evangelista, International Associate Sales Director Mr. Sonny Evangelista, International Sales Director Ms. Charisse Ngo, Sales Director Mr. Dennis G. Bustamante and Property Investment Manager Mr. Noah Malayao.
SMDC Deputy Sales Head Mr. Angelo V. Nomat shared that SMDC is seeking to boost the company’s real estate promotion activities in China following a decline during the COVID-19 pan
demic. Prior to that period, China was considered to be among their strongest markets for their real estate offers. According to the SMDC team, SMDC real estate offers of condominium units and Airbnb rentals for short-term stay appeal to both Filipinos and Chinese alike.
Consul General Dinno M. Oblena wished them much success during their participation in the 2024 Luxury Property Show being held in Shanghai, a metropolis that offers business opportunities and encourages businesses to thrive, further strengthening its standing as a global economic, finance, shipping, trade, hi-tech and logistics hub.
Making the most of their visit, the SMDC team has also touched base with some members of the Filipino community in Shanghai in the hopes of exploring the possibility of conducting real estate investment presentations in the future. END
