Mr. Joan Valadou, the new Consul General of France in Shanghai, paid an introductory call on Consul General Josel F. Ignacio on 21 October 2022.

Consul General Valadou assumed his post in the city on 31 August, succeeding Mr. Benoît Guidée.

Also present at the call was Consul John Francis S. Herrera.

The two Heads of Mission compared notes on their respective missions’ activities and consular and economic priorities in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta Region.
