The Philippine Consulate General cordially invites kababayans in Shanghai and the provinces of Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Hubei to the ZOOM Webinar, “RTB 26 - Pamana ang Panatag na Bukas,” organized by the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury (PBTr) on Thursday, 25 November at 7PM - 8PM (PH/CN standard time).
Open to overseas Filipinos, the Webinar will discuss the Philippine Government’s latest retail bond offering -- the 26th Tranche of Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB 26) -- and the various ways of investing in this financial product.
RTB 26 is a low-risk, fixed-income investment generating quarterly interests over 5.5 years. The Philippine government will use funds raised from the issuance of RTB 26 to finance the country’s emergency, recovery, and resiliency responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Webinar will feature resource speakers from the PBTr, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), and Landbank of the Philippines (LBP).
Part of the PBTR’s series of online roadshows, the RTB26 Webinar is geared towards promoting the accessibility of government securities to Filipino retail investors, as well as promoting financial literacy.
