Consul General Ignacio Welcomed Into Shanghai Corps of Consuls General

26 April 2021, Shanghai – New Philippine Consul General Josel F. Ignacio was warmly welcomed by fellow Consuls General in Shanghai at the group’s luncheon gathering on 26 April in Pudong District.

The economic and political importance of Shanghai and its surrounding provinces, together with the sizeable community of expatriates in these localities, is reflected in the presence of 70-plus foreign consular missions in the city.

Consul General Ignacio, as well as his counterparts from Bulgaria and Colombia, are the latest additions to this tightly knit group of diplomats, which currently has the Consul General of Denmark as Dean. END
